"In the morning a man walks with his whole body; in the evening, only with his legs." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
I'm late into my ninth experiment only because I'm sort of (actually really) dreading it. I want to try out the life of a morning person. You know those rare annoying creatures that wake up everyday at 5am and do amazing things for their bodies and have finished a day's worth of work by noon. I hate them. I want to be them. For a month anyway.
I'm currently working a gig that is requiring me to get up at the butt crack of dawn anyway so I've already been begrudgingly rolling out of bed at 5:30am this week. I don't love it but I might as well continue this streak and see what this experiment does for my lifestyle. Maybe I'll get so much done and I'll feel like such a winner! Maybe I'll just be sleepy with no social life. We shall see!
The Experiment: For the month of October, I'm waking myself up at 5:30am. Weekends excluded.
The Rules: Why 5:30am? Well because I love torturing myself. I don't know, I figure 7am or 8am is what normal people do and experiments are supposed to change things up. 5:30am is something I'd never voluntarily sign up for...except I'm doing that right now.
The Reason: Just want to see what happens if I become a morning person. Maybe I'll meditate more, maybe I'll be more productive in my business, maybe I'll hate it and finally accept my late night tendencies guilt free!
NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS ONE.
