Experiment Ten: A Month of Tracking
Does writing things down actually change behavior? I have so many little habits I want to change in my life. Simple ones like flossing daily, or exercising more. I’ve read articles and books on habit formation and one of the key ways to change behavior is to write down what you are actually doing. I figure this is easier than actually pushing myself to change ;p.
So for the month of October I will be tracking my behavior.
The Rules: I will use apps like “Done”, the apple health app, and my Smart Watch to track my behavior. I will track my steps, sleep, cycle, weight, my feelings, and my daily habits.
The Reason: I want to see if tracking improves behavior!
I appreciate the more straightforward experiments so I’m excited for this one!
